Shad Olsen (Man 1)
Shad Olsen toured the U.S. in an educational production of The Three Musketeers (in French... which he doesn't speak), playing Louis XIII. In New York, he performed in Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus as Bassianus and Byron Hale in the reading of a new musical, Flyer, at ASCAP. He also performed in the off-Broadway musical, A Stoop o?n Orchard Street as Simon. Currently, he is revising his book and lyrics to the new musical, The Man in the Iron Mask, with music by Jeffrey Campos. Iron Mask received a staged reading, directed by Brian Swasey and starring Marla Schaffel, Michael Hunsaker, Richard Roland, Brian Charles Rooney and Paul Jackel. A reading of the revised work is scheduled for fall, 2006.

Sarah is thrilled to be a part of this years NYMF, and to be singing such wonderful new and original music. Some of Sarah?s Theatre credits include: The Witch in ?Into The Woods?, Magenta in ?The Rocky Horror Show?, Cathy in ?The Last Five Years?, Peppermint Patty in ?Snoopy! The Musical?, Vicki in ?The Full Monty?, Emilia in ?Othello?, Ida in ?Honk?, Germaine in ?Picasso at the Lapin Agile?. She was most recently seen in the Concert ?I Hate Music? here in NYC singing the music of Glen Roven.
Brian Swasey (Director)
A graduate of University of New Hampshire with a degree in Musical Theatre and Dance. Theatrical Performing credits include Harry Houdini in Ragtime at Maine State Music Theatre, the Off-Broadway production of Naked Boys Singing (yes, I was really naked), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Crazy for You, Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby, , A Chorus Line, She Loves Me, 42nd Street, Tommy, The Wizard of Oz, and an international tour of West Side Story. Directing and Choreography credits include Forever Plaid, Lucky Stiff, The Man in The Iron Mask, Godspell, Seussical, Starmites, Nunsense, Is There Life After High School?, How to Succeed..., Once on this Island, A Chorus Line, Once Upon a Mattress, Kiss Me, Kate and Peter Pan.
Jeffrey Campos (Musical Director)
A native of Colorado, attended the University of Denver and the New England Conservatory of Music.His musical directing credits include Lucky Stiff, (Astoria Performing Arts Center), How to Succeed in Business?, Mame (Cohoes Music Hall), Guys and Dolls, Finian?s Rainbow, as well as operatic excerpts from La Boh?me, Die tote Stadt, and The Tender Land. Other musical theatre credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (The Producer?s Club) and The Spickner Spin (2004 Fringe Festival).In February 2006, Jeffrey conducted a staged reading of his new musical (book and lyrics by Shad Olsen), The Man in the Iron Mask, at the Lamb?s Theatre, starring Marla Schaffel, Richard Roland and Brian Charles Rooney.He wrote the orchestrations and arrangements for the long-running Off-Broadway musical A Stoop o?n Orchard Street and served as musical supervisor.He had the great pleasure of assisting Andrew Lippa with some music for the upcoming movie musical Asphalt Beach.His orchestral conducting credits include the Adagietto from Mahler?s Symphony No. 5, Siegfried Idyll (Wagner), and choral conducting includes works by Marenzio, Beethoven, Faure, Barber and Bernstein.Jeffrey would like to thank B. Swasey for his tireless dedication to all my hair-brained ideas.
